Prerequisite:

1. Course Description

The Chinese cultural history project is a humanistic quality course for students in the school of Liberal arts and Law of Tianjin University.By learning this course, students can systematically understand the basic knowledge of Chinese culture,master the main characteristics of Chinese culture and fine traditions, improve their Chinese cultural theory quality,and comprehensively analysis of issues related to Chinese culture; Enhance national self-confidence and pride, cultivate noble moral sentiment and healthy aesthetic temperament and interest,and raise their cultural accomplishment and life grade; Contact in real life, to discover the modern value of Chinese traditional culture resources; Grasp the study method of macro and micro, history and logic, and form the thinking habit of critically inheriting the knowledge.

2. Requirements

1、Students should obey classroom disciplines and ensure the attendance.

2、Discussing,thinking and reading in actual situations.

3、Students should finish the working on time.

3. Topics

This course will introduce the connotation of Chinese culture through several projects such as the political structure, economic form, language, education, art, philosophy, religion, ethics and so on. It can improve students’ comprehension of Chinese culture, help students understand the basic characteristics of Chinese culture and traditions, and help them cultivate noble moral sentiment, healthy value orientation and aesthetic orientation.
