Course Introduction

This course introduce the basic knowledge of one of the main branches of the Applied Linguistics -- social linguistics. this course include the theory of language acquisition, language learning, language and society, language and communication, language planning. This course requires students to understand the basic knowledge of social linguistics, master the basic research method of social linguistics, and analyzes the modern social language phenomenon observed by the methods of Social Linguistics Society, so as to improve the modern Chinese language ability, to enhance awareness of language norms.
