Dr. Yan worked as a full-time translator for many years, which gave her extensive experience in international communication and cross-cultural exchange. Her experience as a visiting scholar in the United States further strengthened her expertise in both teaching and research within the field of Translation Theory and Practice. She has published academic papers in leading core journals and has edited or co-edited several books, in addition to achieving other notable accomplishments in teaching and research.
