Relying on the Institute for Global South Studies at Tianjin University, the Center for Shanghai Cooperation Organization Studies fully leverages its interdisciplinary advantages and dedicates itself to in-depth research on the development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), regional governance within the SCO framework, and innovative models of regional cooperation. While giving equal attention to multiple functions including academic research and exchanges, policy consultation, and interdisciplinary talent cultivation, the Center takes serving China’s national strategy for cooperation with the SCO and deepening research, exchanges, and cooperation on the SCO both domestically and internationally as its core mission. It is committed to offering intellectual and talent support for advancing the high-quality development of the SCO and constructing the China-SCO Community with a shared future.
